Why Is Sunscreen Important for Babies? 

Babies’ skin is thinner, more delicate, and more sensitive to UV rays compared to adults'. Even short sun exposure can lead to sunburn and long-term skin damage. That’s why using a broad-spectrum baby sunscreen with UVA and UVB protection is essential, in combination with other sun protection methods. It’s generally recommended that very young babies under 6 months old should be kept in the shade and not be exposed to direct sunlight at all, and older babies and toddlers should also be kept out of the sun as much as possible, especially around noon when the sun is strongest.
